degree show catalogue statement

My work is not about shocking people, it's about encouraging them to look a little closer at something that has the capacity to repel, and take the opportunity to see something lovely, delicate and precious. It's about questioning your initial response - trickery with glitter.

I work from hardcore porn images, but also draw elements of the body from life, and fragment them on vast white backgrounds to encourage the imagination of the viewer.
